CD Players (Audio Playback)
CD solid state/CD/RW recorder (Tascam SS-CDR200) is available as a secondary CD playback device. UPDATE - CD drive is out of service. All flash media options (SD card or USB drive) remain available for recording or playback.
We can play audio from USB drives, compact flash, or SD cards, but there are specific format and file requirements. Please contact the PAC for more information.
Although convenient, playback from phones is not encouraged. Battery, lock screen/password, incoming calls, notification sounds and incompatibility between phone cases and our professional output connectors are among the many potential problems inherent to using phones for audio playback. Please consider another option as an audio source. If you choose to use a phone as a playback device, please supply someone to manage the device.
As CDs are nearing obsolete technology, we are transitioning to Stage Research's "SFX" as out preferred playback method of file-based audio in a live-performance environment. For more information, contact the PAC.
Stage Rigging as of Friday, 7/9/2019
All lines are operational. Line 17 occasionally makes noise during movement and is not recommented for live moves during performance.
DMX Lighting Network
All stage positions, including flown electrics, have been upgraded to wired connectivity via network connectivity and will improve reliability of signal integrity. Wireless DMX transmission equipment will continue to be used for instances where wired connectivity is impractical.
