CIE Book Blog
CIE Community, November 1, 2016
It is with great excitement that I inform you of our CIE book blog that will begin today, November 1st and run through the end of the school year, focusing on one of the seven habits each month. This blog is an opportunity for all CIE community to become more knowledgeable of the work that is taking place at CIE on a daily basis, which is aligned to our Mission Statement- Inspiring Greatness, One Child at a Time.
We are proud to be the first school in Henry County to begin the journey of becoming a Leader in Me School. Research shows that as a Leader in Me School, the results are inspiring; including fewer discipline problems, greater parent satisfaction, soaring student self-confidence, synergistic school cultures, improved student achievement, increased teacher pride and a refined focus on 21st-century life skills: collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.
I am including the web link that will allow you to interact with all CIE community stakeholders and provide an opportunity for you to reinforce the work that is taking place on a regular basis at CIE at home. To become a participant in this blog, go to the following link, www.ciebookblog.wordpress.com. Once you are logged into the site, you will be able to respond to questions, engage in dialogue with one another as a school community and gain a deeper understanding of how to enforce the habits at home.
I am honored to be the principal at Cotton Indian Elementary, a Leader in Me School, and to be a part of such a caring and dedicated school community.
Please do not hesitate to contact if you should have any questions.
