Back to School Letter to MS and HS Parents- July 29

Back to School

Good Afternoon Middle School and High School Parents,

Happy Wednesday. We hope this message finds you well.

We have been preparing for your child to start school for months, but our teachers hit the ground running on Monday.  It is certainly an unusual start to the school year even for Impact Academy, but we are EXCITED and have great expectations for this school year!

This message is also to inform you of a few things that you can plan for in the coming weeks.

 conferences
  • Teachers will be reaching out to schedule one-on-one meetings with you and your child. We have a tradition of student led conferences that will start during the week of August 10th.  Be on the lookout for this invitation.
  • We will host a virtual Open House on Monday, August 10 from 3-5pm. More information will come next week. Look for this in your email and the IA website.
 tech support
  • Tech Help is available at this link for the following situations:
    • If you are in need of tech help for your student’s Chromebook, you can sign up below for a time to meet with our school technician to have your student’s chromebook serviced.
    • If you are new to Henry County Schools and your student does not have a Chromebook, please use this link to sign up for your time to get it.
    • For Tech Help, come to the main entrance for Excel  Academy, not Impact. We share the same building.
    • Sign up link for face-to-face tech help or pick up a new device:  https://calendly.com/hcsacademy/chromebook-assistance
    • All students will need a school issued laptop so that the student can access specific instructional resources and participate in test taking.
 tshirt
  • Impact Academy has a tradition of having a yearly t-shirt. Consider supporting Impact Academy and showing IA spirit through the purchase of our t-shirt.  #ImpactProud!
