My name is Stephanie Chadwick and I am exited to be an Oakland Elementary School Owl!
I became the literacy coach at Oakland in November 2017, but have been teaching in Henry County since 2006. Prior to my time in Henry County, I worked as an educator in Clayton County for 8 years.
I attended Brenau University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Two years later, I earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Math from Walden University. I also hold a gifted education endorsement.
I was born and raised in Georgia. I have two beautiful daughters who graduated from Henry County Public Schools. My oldest daughter, Cheryl, is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. My youngest, Jessica, graduated from Clayton State University with a Bachelor's degree in Technology.
In my freetime, I enjoy writing children's books. I am a self-published auther of three titles at this time. I also enjoy making vinyl projects and playing disc golf.
I am looking forward to working with you, your children and the staff at Oakland Elementary! Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. I am here to help!
Stephanie Chadwick
