Fine Arts (Dance) - Teagle, Brittany
-
Greetings! My name is Mrs. Brittany Teagle. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education Development from Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a Master’s Degree in Arts and Teaching Education from the University of Phoenix. I am currently pursuing a degree in Leadership from Thomas University.
I have been teaching for ten years. Four of those years have been at Hampton High School, where I am Department Chair of the Fine Arts Department, as well as the instructor of the HHS Dance Department. I also coach the Purple Reign Dance Team at Hampton High School. With pride, I represented Hampton High School as their 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year.
I am passionate about working with students to understand the different genres and the art of dance. Through my passion, I strive to connect and bring passion for the art of dance out of all of my students daily. I’m a trained dancer in the following genres ballet, pointe, lyrical, hip hop, modern, contemporary, tap, and jazz. I have experience in HBCU dance, professional dance, and theatrical dance. It is with great excitement that I welcome you to Hampton High School’s Dance Department.
Love PURPLE, Live GOLD!
