• PSAT Information

The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at WHS between 1st and 3rd periods.

All 10th grade students currently enrolled in World Literature will be scheduled to test at no charge (the state of GA pays for their test.) There is no need to register if you are a 10th grade student in World Literature.

*If your student is a first time 10th grader and is NOT enrolled in World Literature, you must contact Ms. McCormick-Floyd to get scheduled at no charge since World Literature rosters will be used to generate the list of free test takers.

All 9th and 11th grade students who wish to test will need to register and pay for the test, which is a $17 charge**. Registration forms are available in the main office.

Students who attend AAS/IA in the morning should plan to take the PSAT at WHS on that day. Your attendance will be sent to your respective program.

Seniors are not permitted to test for PSAT, but they may take the SAT during the same time frame. Please see the link on the left for details.

**Students who qualify for a fee waiver with CollegeBoard must request the waiver for the PSAT by June 28 (see Ms. McCormick-Floyd.) Information on eligibility can be found here: PSAT Fee Waiver

+ Students who need testing accommodations due to an IEP or a 504 must contact Ms. McCormick-Floyd no later than August 20 so the request can be sent to the CollegeBoard. Requests made after that time will not be processed in time for the PSAT and students will test without accommodations.
