Mrs. Michelle Huffman, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Huffman comes to Henry County by way of North Carolina.  She is originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina.  She attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke on both a Chancellor Scholarship and Softball Scholarship.  Upon graduation, Mrs. Huffman began her teaching and coaching career in Richmond County.  Over the past 18 years she has taught broad field science and coached sports such as Softball, Cross Country, Basketball, and Volleyball.  Mrs. Huffman has served in educational and athletic leadership roles.  She acquired her Master’s Degree in School Administration from Grand Canyon University.

In the summer of 2014 she and her family moved to Georgia and fell in love with Henry County.  Mrs. Huffman first started her career with Henry County Schools at Hampton High School.  From HHS she served as a District Personalized Learning Coach.  She is so happy to be back home and wearing the purple and gold of HHS once again.

Mrs. Huffman is the wife of Chris Huffman and has three children:  Keely, Kaleb, and Kamden Huffman. Her children keep her very busy with Basketball, Baseball, and Cheerleading.  When she does get a few minutes of free time, Mrs. Huffman enjoys crafting, reading, and traveling.
