Hello and welcome to my page!

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year at Eagle’s Landing Middle School.

My goals are to teach the curriculum, prepare students for the Georgia Milestone State Assessment, inspire students to enjoy math as much as I do, and prepare students for their next journey in their educational path.

    A little information about me:

    Personal Information

My name is Ms. Paige Payne. My favorite color is green. I play Ultimate Frisbee in Atlanta on a traveling club team and hope to start up a team here in McDonough for the High School Division out of Atlanta. I enjoy spending time with my puppy, Dany, my family, and friends.

    Why do I teach?

Teaching, in my opinion, is one of the hardest jobs you could do but has the greatest rewards. I love children. I love to inspire them and show them the potential that they have within themselves. The “aha” moment when they finally understand something is the greatest moment.

    My Educational Background

I have a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Pre-Law with a Minor in Math, a degree in Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education at the University of West Georgia. I am currently working on my gifted certification and Educational Leadership degree.

I am excited to be working with you and your student on an individual basis. I welcome the opportunity to work with each of you based on ability and needs. I look forward to teaching your student in an informative, engaged, and differentiated learning experience in my class. Every student has a different learning style, their own pace, and their own learning needs. I will work with them to make sure that they master the information they need to know and understand to move them towards their goals on the Georgia Milestones and in their academic education.
