Welcome back to Woodland High School!
I am excited about the 2020 - 2021 school year. I hope my optimisim is shared as I express my feelings that this is going to be the best year ever! This is the beginning of my 6th year as a classroom teacher at Woodland. This is truly the best working environment that I have experienced throughout my 21 years as an educator. I love the students, as well as the staff and faculty. Woodland feels like home. Prior to teaching in Henry County, I taught social sciences in both Fulton and Gwinnett counties. I also taught in Columbia, SC.
I grew up in rural Georgia; graduated from LaGrange College, Kennesaw State University and Piedmont College. I currently teach AP Psychology and World History.
I have three beautiful daughters, two cute dogs and a super awesome cat. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, thrifting, watching Netflex, gardening, and playing outdoors.
When we are back on campus, I can be found in room 212, my planning period is 5th period, and my email is: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Again, Woodland is a great place to teach and learn; I am feeling optimistic about this school year and the future. Looking with great anticipation of meeting you all.
