    Annual Parent Survey

    As a Title I school, we must conduct an Annual Parent Evaluation (Annual Survey) that solicits input from our families regarding the effectiveness of the school’s Parent & Family Engagement Program. We need more parents to complete our survey. Please, please, please take time to complete.

  • Drive by school next week

    Bring those library books to the school. 

    Pick up your medicine and other needed items such as eyeglasses.

    Drop off chrome books and cords if you are leaving Henry County.

     

    Parents could “drive-by” the school starting

    Monday – Wednesday, 9-11 and 2-4,

    Thursday, 4-6 p.m. and

    Friday, 9-11 a.m.

    Happy Monday! This week will be the last week to collect data on your goals. So do your best as you continue to work on homeroom assignments.

    ELA

    • Monday: Watch Mondays with Mitchell Obama-Readalong at 12 noon - Ms. Maple's Seeds, take AR quiz and write a book report. Also, read a book on Kidsa-z and take a quiz.
    • Tuesday: Read your favorite story and write a brief description or summary. Draw a picture about your favorite part.
    • Wednesday: Make a list of your favorite things for as many letters of the alphabet as you can! Use the words from this list in a story, either a narrative or an information piece.
    • Thursday: Read an article in a newspaper or magazine. You can print one from the Internet. Circle the punctuation in red and capital letters in green.
    • Friday: Write an informational piece about something you know how to do well.

    Friday: Join Virtual Field Day!

    Marvelous Monday! The following are the assignments for each day of this week. Mrs. Atluri will work with each of you on your IEP goals.  

    ELA

    • Monday- Read-Along with Mitchell Obama at 12 noon -There is a Dragon in your Book Listen and take AR quiz, write a book report and share with your teachers.
    • Tuesday- Write a story that includes 10 vocabulary words. Circle the words.
    • Wednesday-Read a book. Write a summary of the characters, setting, problem, and solution.
    • Thursday- Watch a TV show or movie and write a summary or a description of your favorite part.
    • Friday- Write a paragraph (or more) that describes the day. (weather, things you see, etc...)

    Happy Friday!

    We made 3 weeks of Remote Learning a GREAT Experience for all of us!

    Congratulations to those of you who have earned Fun Friday for being consistently doing your work and being diligent. That's right!  Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe!

    7 students (5 fourth graders + 2 fifth graders) still have to turn in their assignments. The rest of you have done well consistently. Make sure you complete your CFAs, Friday assessments, and any pending work from your homeroom. I am available virtually if you need me via goguardian chatroom till 1 PM today. Complete this last assignment for me this week. 

    Unit 2 Digital Citizenship Lesson 2.5 Picture Perfect (Code: EYITU)

    Atluri will be in meetings today starting at 1 PM.

    Please listen to as many stories as possible during Spring Break and take AR tests.

    12 students have completed working on their goals and probes this week with Ms. Atluri. She will continue to work with the rest of 9 students today and tomorrow.

    1. Please complete all pending assignments from your homeroom Google Classroom (Writing assignment, CFA, Illuminate Weekly assignments etc). 

    2. Read from different sources(Sora, overdrive, storyline online, teachingbooks.net etc) and take AR quiz

    3. Practice your grade-level skills on IXL, MobyMax
