Welcome to Physical Science. This is where we use lab experiences and challenges to explore our world around us.

A wonderful opportunity to learn through exploration is with the Henry County Science and Engineering Fair. Discover solutions to solve a problem that you may see with our world. If you have an idea for an invention, this is your opportunity to show us what you've got. Maybe you want to improve on a current product or invention, this science and engineering fair is for you. The time to develop your science and engineering topic is now. A great invention or experiment can change the world to be a better place. You can make that happen. 

This year we are proud to join the Henry County Fire Department first responders in a UL Xplorlabs Fire Forensics lab. The HCFD will collaborate with us as we investigate a house fire. This community-based program will provide us the opportunity to learn about energy transfer as we work to provide answers through exploration. This will happen around the 3rd week of October. 

The Henry County Water Authority has invited HCS to a competition: The Model Water Tower. Might I add, "Challenge Accepted!!!" Scholars will design and build a model water tower then present to judges. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with our community and learn through exploration.
