    Hi! My name is Mrs. LaVecchia and I am thrilled to be your 5th grade teacher this year. It is going to be a great year full of lots of learning and many new adventures. I am excited to watch this class learn and grow together. I cannot wait to learn all about you, but first I am going to tell you all about me. I have been teaching since 2004. I have loved learning, laughing, and loving each class I've had the privilege to teach. I have my Bachelor's in Science in both Elementary and Special Education from Mercer University! Goooooooo Bears! I recently married my very best friend, Mr. David. I am also mom to six amazing children (two sets of twins) Joshua, Caleb, Hannah, Hunter, Hayden, Livee, and one super sweet doggie. Joshua and Caleb both attended UGA (GO DAWGS), Hunter and Hannah attend Kennasaw State University, Hayden will be in 11th, and our Livee will be in 8th grade .
