    Welcome to the 20-21 school year with the Woodland Middle School Band.  I am looking forward to working with your students this year.  
     
    I want to take a minute and tell you a little bit about me.  I am starting my 6th year here at Woodland Middle School and my 20th year of teaching overall.  Prior to comig to Woodland Middle School I taught for 12 years at Piedmont Lakes Middle School in Apopka, FL.  I also spent a year at Cartersville High School in Cartersville, GA, and another year at Westside High School in Augusta, GA.  My family consists of my wonderful wife Valri Ford, who is also a teacher in Henry County, my son Barrett who is a freshman at Georgia Southern University, and my daugther Raegan who is in 10th grade at Woodland High School.
