Hello 6th graders!!! I am so excited that we get to spend this year together. I wanted to introduce myself to everyone so you know a little more about me. This will be my 18th year teaching and my 1st year at Union Grove Middle. I grew up in Henry County and am a graduate of the Henry County School System. I am also a 3 time graduate of Georgia State University. I have been married to my husband Chris for over 17 years and we have a daughter Ava who is in the 9th grade and a son Jax who is in 2nd grade.  We also have 2 dogs named Gizmo and Odie who are both Yorkies. I love all things Disney and I love to diamond paint. I am so excited to get to be your 6th grade teacher. Like you I am moving from being a 5th grade teacher, so it's my first year of middle school too. I hope it will be our favorite year ever!!
