In the interest of preserving the instructional environment, no
    check-outs after 2:45 p.m.
No check-outs during our students lunch

ALL absences, check-ins and check-outs will be coded
    UNEXCUSED until proper

documentation is received to excuse the absence,
    check-in/check-out.  A note must be

received on the first day back to school or no later than
the third day back to school.
(refer to the student handbook for acceptable reasons).

Students are limited to five (5) handwritten parent notes per semester
for a combination of check-in/check-outs and morning tardies.

Check-in/Check-outs will then be unexcused unless approved
    documentation is provided.
(please refer to the student handbook for acceptable reasons).

Students with (3) or more unexcused tardies to school will be
referred to school administration and lose their parking privileges for a week.

Students who require daily medication will need to have a medication
authorization form on file and all medication will be housed
in the attendance office.  Medication must be in its original container.
Medicines in baggies and envelopes will not be accepted or dispensed.

The attendance office will not take phone calls for checkouts over the phone.
Written permission must be received before a student is
allowed to self checkout.  Please be prepared to show your picture I.D.

Bus transportation change notes must be turned in to the
front office in the mornings upon the student's arrival to school.
For safety reasons, we cannot change a student from a bus
rider to a car rider unless the parent comes into the front office
with ID to make the request.
We will NOT accept any phone calls for these requests.
Please send all absence notes to Lori Aviles @ lori.aviles@henry.k12.ga.us
