Welcome to my page!! My name is Ms. Amber White.  This is my sixth year at Dutchtown High School.  I have had the pleasure of teaching self-contained special education in Henry county for 19 years.  

 I like to share my mission so you can understand the goals I try to reach throughout the school year.  Other than meeting standards and goals, I try to meet the needs of each individual student.  My mission as a teacher is to be the best teacher I can be by providing a quality education to prepare positive, well-rounded individuals that can face the challenges of life.  I will treat them with respect, compassion, and dignity, as I would want to be treated.  I will motivate them to become self-directed learners who can take responsibility for themselves.   I will help raise self-esteem by modeling and encouraging students to believe that they can do anything.

Office Hours: 7:45am - 8:15am, 3:15pm - 3:45pm

Instruction: 8:15am - 1:45pm

Planning: 1:45pm - 3:15pm
