_________________________________________________________
Hello! My name is Anna Irvin, and I am honored to be Ola Middle School's Student Support Facilitator. As the Student Support Facilitator, I lead the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) department and support our ESE students, teachers, and parents as best I can. The 2022-23 school year marks my 19th year in Exceptional Student Education.
More About Me:
I was born and raised in Nashville, TN, and attended Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY. I earned two degrees (a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Religion) in four years and after graduating, moved to Fort Worth, TX to enter seminary. I graduated with my Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002. I married my husband that year and we moved to Georgia in 2003 to take a ministry position at a church in Carroll County in West Georgia. After moving to Georgia, I went back to school to earn my teaching certificate, concentrating in Special Education and Middle School Mathematics. I taught in Carroll County for three years before my husband and I moved to Henry County in 2006. My husband and I have two children, Andrew (14) and Hannah (12). Andrew is in 11th grade and Hannah is in 9th grade at Ola High School. We also have five furbabies (three cats and two rescue dogs). We live in Locust Grove and attend church at Southpoint Fellowship in downtown Locust Grove.
In my free time (what little I have), I enjoy walking, listening to true crime podcasts, Netflix marathons, and reading!
