Welcome to your next level of Eagle's Landing Language Arts.
Students will be responsible for attending class in-person, following the day to day class activities, and participating. Our learning targets will be posted on the board. Student learning will be designed to most accurately "hit" the targets. The class will consist of an Opening Activity, Work Session, and Closing Activity. The classroom will be a student-centered learning environment, where students are actively engaged in learning. Our day to day activities will rely on about 80% technology and 20% printed assignments/work. After our opening activity, I will guide our work session for 30 minutes of class. I will be available for help with assignments during the next 30 minutes and offering corrections or remediation during the last 30 minutes. Students will be logging into Google Classroom during the class period, but we will also be utilizing our HMH Core Content (online/printed) text.
I will also have office hours from: 7:45-8:15 and from 3:15-3:45
I offer tutoring as well, but contact me to see what time works best.
Best practices: Always check Google Classroom. Look on the calendar or stream for assignments and announcements. Read directions. Make sure to add questions, comments, and concerns in the stream, in the comments, or via my Email.
