The mission of Luella Middle School's Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive counseling program aligned with the ASCA (American School Counselor Association) National Model. The model is designed to meet the academic, personal/social and college/career needs of all students so that they may become responsible and productive citizens. As a personalized learning school, we work with all students to foster a strong sense of self-efficacy while developing life skills that provide the foundation for personal and social growth, which promotes educational and career success. We will work collaboratively with students, families and the Henry County community to provide a variety of opportunities for students to maximize their learning.

To make an appointment to see a counselor, students should fill out a “Request for Counseling Appointment” form. The counselor will send for the student as soon as possible (generally within 24 to 72 hours).
