       Hello, I would like to welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year!  I am Erica White, and I am extremely excited about this upcoming school year and to be your teacher.  I truly believe that every child deserves the best education possible.  It only takes one teacher to make a difference in a student's life, and that is why I focus on building good, healthy relationships with my students, as well as their parents.  I acknowledge and understand that every student learns differently; therefore, I incorporate different instructional strategies to meet the students where they are, provide them with appropriate support, and focus on student achievement, growth, and progress.  As your child's teacher, I will strive to provide them with the necessary tools to be successful this school year.  

      Just to tell you a little about myself, this is my 7th year in the field of education.  I graduated from Clayton State University with a Bachelor's degree in middle grades education, with the areas of concentration being mathematics and language arts.  I went on to receive my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, from Argosy University.  Lastly, I earned my Specialist's degree in Mathematics Education, grades K - 8, from the University of Georgia.
