Tamie Mason
Spanish InstructorThe 2019-2020 School Year marks the start of my 29th year in education! It is hard to believe that I have had the privilege of working with the youth of Henry County for over two decades!
I graduated from the University of Georgia with my Bachelor’s in Foreign Language Education in 1991. I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from the University of Phoenix in 2002.
I have taught several subjects from Spanish, French, and German to Skills for Adolescences to Business Tech. I enjoy working with students. It is my goal as a teacher not only to teach them the curriculum but also to teach them some basic life skills while supporting them through their middle and high school careers.
Outside of school, I am the mother of 3 very active sons – 2 who recently graduated from LGHS and 1 who currently attends LGHS. My family is important to me. My time outside the classroom is spent either at church, a sports complex, or in a theater. It is a lot of traveling but I enjoy being with my boys while they compete and perform.
I am excited to be working with you through Impact Academy.
