    Assistant Principal
RCE Family, I want to warmly welcome you to the 2017-2018 school year!  It is my sincere pleasure and honor to assist Dr. Fowler in positively impacting each student’s performance and school experience at Rocky Creek. I truly believe in the adage, “It takes a village to raise a child.”  All stakeholders (parents, teachers, support staff, administration, and community) must collaborate to ensure student success in meeting and exceeding expectations.

To give you a little information about myself, I graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education.  I also have obtained a Master’s Degree in Post-Secondary Education from Troy University and an Education Specialist Degree from Valdosta State University in Educational Leadership. This year is my 15th in education and my third year as Assistant Principal. I transitioned to Henry County Schools in 2014 as a 4th grade teacher.  Prior to that, I was an Academic Coach in Bibb County for three years.  While in Bibb County, I was also a fifth grade, third grade, and second grade classroom teacher.

Teamwork and open communication are very vital in ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for our students. I am eager to assist in supporting the students, parents, teachers and community of Rocky Creek Elementary. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
