    I LOVE teaching science and I hope to instill this love of science with your child. I will strive to show them how science is a part of their everyday lives. This will be the start of my 25th year of teaching! I am one of the inaugural members that opened the school in 2006. Even though I have taught 8th grade for the past 11 years, I have also taught 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th grade. I have a strong science background with a Bachelor's degree in Plant Science from University of Georgia. I went on to earn a 2nd Bachelor's from Georgia State University in Middle Grades Education. I also hold a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and A Specialist's Degree in Leadership. 

     
    I have been married for 34 years to a great guy and have 2 children, Sarah and Caleb. I also have a new granddaughter, Iris. I have 3 dogs, Addy, Rue and Luna. In my free time,I enjoy gardening, hiking, kayaking and scrapbooking!
