    Our Mission

    To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary schools.

    Our History
    The National Beta Club was founded in 1934 by Dr. John W. Harris. Since then, there has been over 8,000 clubs established nationally and internationally. There are currently more than 420,000 active Beta Club Members.

    The Luella Chapter of the National Beta Club was created in 2005. During the course of its ten years at Luella High School, the Beta Club has donated thousands of dollars to local and national charities. In addition to the Beta Club’s monetary donations, club members have served numerous local organizations through their volunteer efforts. The LHS Beta Club participates in numerous volunteer and community service projects annually including, but not limited to, Hands on Henry, Hands on Luella, Relay For Life, and Operation Christmas Child.


    National BETA Club is among the most reputed Academic Honors Organization focused on Service, Leadership, Character, and Achievement

    Senior Scholarship worth of $300,000 is offered every year,

    LHS National BETA Club is continuously recognized as a BETA Club of Merit.
