    Welcome Message
           Welcome to my class. I am Ms. Parker Goodson. I am very excited to be your teacher. I graduated from West Georgia College with my Bachelors of Early Childhood Education. I continued my education and graduated from Troy with my Masters degree in the arts and Graduated from Lincoln Memorial with my Speialist Degree in Administration.  I have been teaching for 26 years.This is my 16th year at Stockbridge Elementary School. I have taught pre-k, Kindergarten and First grade. I am very passionate about teaching. I can't wait to meet you in person. We will learn a lot and work hard while having some fun. I believe that all students can learn.
            I am from Covington, Ga where I have lived for the past 15 years. I live with my husband of two years and my two grown children. My daughter, Maggie, is attending Graduate school at Mercer University and will be getting married in December. My son, Thomas, is working until he starts college again. I also have two adorable fur babies(cats).
            In my spare time, I enjoy trips to the beach and reading mystery novels. My new hobby is hiking in different state parks.
