2019-2020 is going to be an exciting year in Kindergarten!    I look forward to working with my children and their families to have a wonderful year of growth.    When we all work together, we will see the children make great academic and social strides.
I grew up in a farming family in Seneca, South Carolina.    I earned degrees from North Greenville College, Furman University, and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.      I am married to Ed Galbreath and we have two children.    Our son, Paul, and his family live in Fayette County.   We have two grandchildren:  Kailyn and Emahlee.      Our daughter, Rebecca is a graphic designer and works in Birmingham, Alabama.      Our dog, Toby, is 14 years old and is a Yorkie!
Communication is a key to success.   I encourage families to stay informed about our class by checking our website regularly.    Parents can also email me at:  wgalbreath@henry.k12.ga.us or call me at the school (770) 474-8743.

This semester is going to be the best!   I graduated from Clayton State University with my BS in Psychology and Human Services.  After college, I worked as a substitute teacher for Henry County Schools.      This is my first year at Stockbridge Elementary, and I am very excited to be working alongside Mrs. Galbreath!

I spent many summers volunteering as a camp counselor at Camp Twin Lakes and I loved every minute of it!    I thoroughly enjoy working with children of all ages, and I have a passion for learning.    In my spare time I volunteer at Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary; mainly taking photos of all the animals, and educating children and their families on each animal's unique story.
I'm a firm believer in the saying "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life."    I know that we are going to have a fantastic year, and I'm looking forward to getting to know the students and their families!
