It is such a joy and honor to serve as the assistant principal of Hickory Flat Elementary School. I look forward to working with each of you as we strive to educate our students and encourage a love for learning. For more than 15 years, I have served as an elementary and secondary educator. In each of my roles, I have sought to ensure the success of students by providing the best instructional practices and exposure to create lifelong learners. Collaboratively with Mrs. Boyle, I am committed to ensuring that Hickory Flat is the best school to teach and learn. Also, I look to provide vision and leadership for the instructional program at Hickory Flat. In doing so, my goal is to focus on student engagement, knowledge of content, instructional rigor and relevance, usage of assessment strategies and school climate.

My motto is “Excellence Every Day in Every Way” . Again, I am honored to be a member of this team and look forward to serving and supporting all of you.
