  • Ms. Kantrell Brown, Executive Director of School Nutrition, operates a school nutrition program that encourages student and adult participation while serving nutritious meals at a reasonable cost. All school nutrition managers receive 30 hours of training-in-depth to assist them in implementing a new menu plan that increases the fruit and vegetable requirement as well as the bread and grains requirement. All employees also receive 12 hours in-service training. In addition, employees new to the school nutrition program receive 30 additional hours of training through the Orientation for Nutrition Employees course.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
