I am a native of Georgia, having grown up in Athens. Go dawgs! I graduated as valedictorian from Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia. I graduated with honors with a B.A. in Spanish from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina. In 2000, I earned my M.A. in Spanish from Middlebury College. In 2008, I completed my Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2014, I completed my gifted endorsement for the state of Georgia. This year is my 27th year teaching, 21 of those years in Henry County, 12 of which have been at Woodland as I helped open our excellent school. I began my teaching career in 1993 in Thomasville, Georgia at Brookwood School, a K--12 non-denominational Christian school. There, I had a wonderful experience getting started in the amazing teaching profession as I was the Spanish teacher at Brookwood School. In addition to teaching the upper school Spanish classes, I had the challenge and pleasure of beginning the Spanish program for the middle school, designing the curriculum for the new Spanish program. I came to Henry County in 1998 from Chatham, Virginia where I taught Spanish and served as department chair at Chatham Hall School, a girls' boarding school.Parents, please check the information on your class pages as well as Infinite Campus at your every convenience, as I intend to be diligent with updating the grades for all of my students. If you ever have any questions, please contact me via e-mail email@example.com.¡Viva la manada de lobos!
