This is going to be the best year yet at RSE and I am excited to meet and reconnect with our awesome RSE students and families!

If you have any questions, you are encouraged to contact your child's teacher or you can email me at cwinsor@henry.k12.ga.us.  You are welcome to use any resources I have on my webpage.

I am so excited to be working with 1st & 3rd graders in reading and math as a teacher with the Early Intervention Program (EIP).  The EIP program is designed to serve students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level.  The purpose of the Early Intervention Program is to provide additional instructional resources to help students who are performing below grade level obtain the necessary academic skills to reach grade level performance in the shortest possible time.

As a certified teacher, I collaborate with the regular classroom teachers to provide supplementary instruction based on the needs of each student.  My main focus is working in small groups for reading and math. We work on catching up to grade-level reading expectations for phonics, sight words, word attack skills, comprehension skills, and test-taking strategies.  In math, we work on catching up to grade-level expectations in number sense, addition/subtraction and multiplication/division strategies, problem-solving, math reasoning, and various other concepts such as fractions, money, geometry, etc.  You are welcome to any of the resources I have on my webpage, or email me if you need any further information.

New this year:  I am very excited to say that I will also be working with gifted students during our WIN time. Having had a gifted endorsement for many years, I am looking forward to being able to engage RSE's 1st & 2nd graders in enrichment activities!

I am also the teacher sponsor of our Chess Club here at RSE.  You can find more information about the RSE Chess Club under the "Activities" tab at the top of the school web page.

I hope this school year is the best year ever for our Rock Spring Roadrunners!!
