Sarah Nell GriffisBe sure to checkout the tab to the left titled, OMS Student Checklist for Remote Learning.Twitter: @GriffisSarahI am so excited to be joining the Ola Middle School family this year. Even though this year is not starting like we anticipated, I am looking forward to a wonderful year with my 6th and 7th grade students. Many of you will be familiar faces, but I also look forward to meeting lots of new students.
A little about me...I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am very proud to be at Ola Middle School this year, and I am anticipating a wonderful year with you and your child.
I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with an ESOL endorsement and earned my Masters of Science in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. I added my Gifted Endorsement in April of 2014. I have previously taught 2nd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. I am certified to teach elementary, most middle school subjects, and math from elementary through high school. I am excited to be teaching math to 6th and 7th graders this year and am looking forward to seeing your child achieve more than he/she ever dreamed possible!
I am married with two children. My husband, Ed Griffis, also teaches 6th grade math at Ola Middle School. We have two sons, Ethan and Evan. They are both full-time college students.
