Welcome to first grade!  My name is Mrs. Calhoun and I am very excited to be your teacher this year!  I have been busy getting our classroom ready for all of our new friends.  I can’t wait to begin a fun-filled year together.

 

Our first grade adventure begins on the first day of school!  I know you are going to love first grade. Please bring your school supplies with you on that day.  

 

First grade is such a special year.  I am excited to be a part of your learning!  I look forward to a successful year!

If the way your child goes home is changing after the first week of school.  I must receive a note with detailed information of how your child should go home.

**Remember I must receive a note  with a parent’s signature for any transportation changes. For student safety, emails, phone calls or a child telling me there is  a change will not be accepted.
