• Hello All,

I am excited to serve Wesley Lakes as your assistant principal.  I look forward to working with our students, parents, and faculty and staff to ensure every one experiences success: now and later on in our individual endeavors.  A positive relationship will be needed in order to accomplish this, and I look forward to cultivating and fostering lasting and meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.

I grew up in and attended school in Clayton County, and after completing my degree in Middle Grade Education, I enlisted in the Marine Corps.  I returned to school to earn my Master Degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern and my Specialist in Education Leadership from Mercer University.

I began teaching middle grades science and social studies, and 7 years later, I transitioned to the assistant principal role at Stockbridge Middle School where I served the community and students for 6 years.  The transition to elementary school provides another learning experience, and I look forward to the unique challenges that lie ahead and the personal and professional growth that is to come.

My family and I love calling Henry County home.  My wife is an elementary educator in Henry County and our oldest daughter attends school in Henry County as well.  My wife and I have two energetic and creative daughters who love to keep us busy and active.

I look forward to working with our Wesley Lakes community.  Please feel free to call or email me whenever the need arises.

    Andy Pike
