    Welcome Message: Welcome to 8th grade!  This is my 14th year teaching Social Studies here at SMS.  I have a Bachelor of Arts in History from Georgia State University, as well as a Master of Edcuation in Social Studies Education from Georgia State.  In 2015, I finished a Specialist in Secondary History Education degree at Georgia College and State University.  I am the Social Studies department chair here at SMS, as well as the yearbook advisor.  This year we will study the geography, history, government, and economy of our state of Georgia.  For the most up-to-date information please visit your child's Google class page.  I look forward to working with you and your child!  Please feel free to contact me at any time.  Go Tigers!
