Supply List
In order to be successful in class, it is important that students are prepared for class and are ready to learn every day. For math class students will need the following items:
* 7 ONE subject spiral notebooks. We will use one notebook for each unit we study.
* a lot of pencils with erasers
* colored pencils or markers or crayons
* earbuds - not ear phones
* Students will be using the Internet in class. Students should bring their CHARGED Chrome Books to class every day.
* two Expo markers
* one permanent marker
* four glue sticks
* pocket tissues
Students are encouraged to leave a gallon baggy or pencil case with their basic supplies in the classroom filing cabinet for use in class every day. Many students find this convenient for they do not have to carry these items from class to class each day and it ensures that they are always be prepared for math class. Students should write their name on all items with a permanent marker.
Students are required to carry their electronic equipment from class to class.
Per the administration, students must keep their cell phones in their lockers turned off during the day. Cell phones may not be used in class at any time. Parent student contacts made be made through the main office.
I will be assisting students as they develop organizational and study skills, time management and note taking as we focus on learning. With the advancement of these skills, students will learn to become independent learners with the continued assistance of their teachers.
I wish you a great sixth grade year!!!!!
