Mr. Johnnie Stafford, Ed.S
Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! It is an exciting time for teachers as well as students as we begin our work to ensure a successful and rewarding year.
My name is Johnnie Stafford, and I am excited to begin my second year as the physical educaion teacher at Pate’s Creek Elementary School. I have 11 years of teaching experience, with all 11 of them in Henry County Schools. I have taught at every level--Kindergarten through grade 12. I received my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Georgia College and State University, and my Master of Education from Cambridge College in Boston, Massachusetts. I received my Education Specialist in Curriculum and Instrution from Jacksonville State University. I am currently pursuing a second Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University.
I look forward to teaching a subject that can affect children in many positive ways. Physical activity and fitness reinforces developmental skills such as fine motor coordination, hand-eye coordination, agility, flexibiity, endurance, nutrition, sportsmanship, teamwork, and living a healthy lifestyle.
