Pamela Burgess began teaching at Henry County Middle School in 2008, she brings with her a total of 18 years of experience. Currently she serves as the Personalized Learning Project Manager here at Henry County Middle School. Prior to coming to HCMS she taught for Clayton County Public Schools and in her home state of South Carolina. Ms. Burgess holds a bachelor degree in Music Education from South Carolina State University. She also earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina and a Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from South Carolina State University. Her primary instrument is the Clarinet, although she began playing the piano at a very young age. During her time at South Carolina State University, she performed with the University's Marching and Symphonic Bands. She is a member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority and Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity. Ms. Burgess has a daughter named Kameron and a son named Bryce. In her free time she enjoys shopping, traveling and being around friends and family.
