Hello, welcome to the new school year! My name is Ms. Jakacha Nelson. I attended THE Fort Valley State University and achieved my Bachelor of Science in Business Management. 

I am an energetic and enthusiastic teacher who believes education is about YOU and YOUR future.  I strive to create an environment that encourages authentic learning and real-world experiences. I often incorporate hands-on activities in my lessons. I believe in hands-on, project-based learning, and I take the time to ensure my students are engaged and excited about the material. I also recognize the importance of fostering creativity and critical thinking skills in the classroom. I believe in an AUTHENTIC learning experience, and I dedicate my classroom to real-world experiences! Together, we will explore business in real-world aspects and examine the legal concepts of business.  I am passionate about helping students gain the skills they will need to succeed in college and the workplace. My classroom is unique by incorporating DRESS FOR SUCCESS WEDNESDAY! 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially my daughter, Aubree! I believe in leading by example.
