• Mrs. Felton's Kindergarten Class

    Teaching has always been a passion of mine since a child. I enjoy working with children. I have been working with children since 2001. It is a pleasure to serve your child this year. We will have fun learning and being very creative in kindergarten. I am excited to see what this year will have in store for us. Next, there will be a little insight into my background and me. 

    I have been a Kindergarten teacher at Walnut Creek Elementary since 2022. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Human Services from Capella University. I graduated from Capella University with a Masters in Early Childhood. I graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor in Human services / Social Services. I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood and Education and  Accounting from Southern Crescent. When I am not teaching or in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am married with no biological children of my own, but I have four stepsons and four grandbabies.  I enjoy trying new foods, cooking, traveling, reading, and sleeping. I know this will be a magnificent school year filled with rigor, adventure, and an overflow of fun.
