"Life is but a dream...Turning dreams into realities"
Chào bạn! Hola! Hafa Adai! Bonjour! Greetings!

Welcome to Ms. Stroud's class where dreams are turned into realities.
Harriett Tubman once said, “Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”
It gives me great pleasure to announce that my cup runneth over with joy as I am afforded the opportunity to help turn children’s dreams into realities.

Hey! What is your favorite movie? Did you know my favorite movie is “Beaches”, and did you know that I absolutely, positively love lasagna? Did you know I dream of being a meteorologist one day? Oh! Now that I think about it, you probably don’t know because I have not introduced myself.

Introducing, a counselor, a doctor, a nurse, a mother, a motivator, a rescuer, a shoulder to lean on, an ear to listen, an arm to hug, a voice to speak, and a vessel to pour into.
Introducing Ms. Leesia Stroud.
I am a native of Henry County. In my early years, I attended Henry County School. Ironically, that’s the school system I have been an educator in for 20 plus years, teaching 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Wow! It seems like only yesterday I started my educational career.
I attended West Georgia College where I received a Bachelor's as well as a Master of Arts degree in Humanistic Psychology. Later, while still attending West Georgia, I received a Master of Education degree in Middle Grades Education. After finally bidding farewell to West Georgia, now known as the University of West Georgia, I attended Georgia College and State University, where I earned a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership and later Troy State University, earning an Educational Specialist Degree. Additionally, I attended Parson's University in New York receiving a certificate in Interior Decorating and Design.
I have had many exciting experiences in education; however, my greatest experience is watching children’s dreams become realities.
As I strongly believe in my platform, “Turning Dreams Into Realities,” I leave you with some inspirational quotes from great leaders.

“There are those who look at things the way they are, and ask, why? I dream of things that never were, and ask, why not?”
Robert Kennedy

“A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.” - Colin Powell

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” -
Eleanor Roosevelt

“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” - Anatole France

I leave the parents and all the boys and girls in Henry County Schools with this…” Life is but a dream; together we can turn those dreams into realities.”
Dream, Believe, Achieve
"Life happens...So make the best of it!"
