Hello and welcome to 7th Grade Science!

My name is Javier Arcon and I am honored to be your student's science teacher this year. I am 28 years old and have three sisters and one brother. I graduated from Toccoa Falls College as a youth ministry major and will be pursuing my master's degree this upcoming January. 

In the little free time I have, I love to hang out with friends, play video games, listen to music, and watch anime. I am excited to be able to pour back into one of the schools that I went to as a student and cannot wait to see what we will accomplish together. 

This year, we will explore the following topics:

• Classification 
• Characteristics of life
• Cells (structure, function, and processes)
• Genetics
• Evolution by natural selection
• Ecology
• Biomes
