I wish to welcome you to Red Oak Elementary! Congratulations, you are the parent of a kindergartner! When you and your child enter into our classroom, you are going to find two teachers that are excited and passionate about engaging students in rich lessons to help them grow and be successful. Also, it is our goal to create a safe, inviting, and loving environment where students are not afraid to take risks and know that they are worthy and valued by their peers and the adults inside the classroom. This year, your child will be exposed to numbers and letters, high-frequency words, and phonics lessons, which will lead to them reading and writing independently.I know that we are going to have an amazing year together in kindergarten filled with love, laughter and learning.
