    Greetings!

    I am Mrs.Evans and I am thrilled to teach at Ola! I recently moved to Georgia from Wisconsin in 2021.  This will mark my second year teaching with Henry County Schools, and my sixteenth year of teaching.  I received my Bachelor's in Journalism with a Minor in Communication Studies from Northern Illinois University, a Master's of Teaching from Rockford University, and a Doctorate Degree in Ministry from Isaiah University. I have experience in Early Childhood (3 year olds), Elementary and Middle School.  The content I've taught: Social Studies, ELA and Read 180.  All my years of working with various age groups has culminated in providing a well rounded skill set to meet the unique needs of my students.

    I am married to Mr.Evans (8th Grade Counselor at OMS) and together we have three children ages 17, 13 and 8. We also pastor a church in McDonough called Real Love Christian Center. 

    I am very excited to be joining the Ola Family, and look forward to teaching and serving the students and families assigned to my class.
