About the Instructor (Rev. Hilary Odiah)

I was born in Nigeria. After my elementary, middle and high school, I proceeded to a teacher training college {Federal College of Education (Technical)} for three years, where I got my Associate Degree in Business Education, majoring in Accounting and a Minor in Economics. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education (Accounting) from University of Benin, Nigeria and my Master's Degree (M.Ed. Special Education and Teaching) at the University of West Georgia.  I am currently pursuing my Ed.S (Business Education) at University of West Georgia.
 I taught Business Education (Accounting) in Middle and High school between 2000 and 2011 before relocating to the United States with my family.
I am a Georgia Professional Standard Commission Certified Business Education and Special Education (General Curriculum) Educator, with Autism Endorsement.

I have four years of office/industry experience working as Accounting Coordinator with New Generation Health Services in Georgia, and I have had the opportunity to work with an experienced CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and have in-depth knowledge of preparing companies’ financial statements, audits, policies and procedures for setting up companies, bank reconciliation statements, including keeping appropriate records of all books of Account in the Accounting 'World'.
I am a certified and trained Welder (I-CAR certified), Automobile Body/Paint Technician, and Automotive Technician.  I have worked with Service King Collision Company (Alpharetta), Caliber Collision (Morrow), Drive Time Automotive Dealership (Stockbridge) and Good-Years Auto Service & Tires (Decatur and McDonough).  I have a Diploma in Automotive Body/Paint Technology (Atlanta Technical College), and an Associate Degree in Automotive Repair Technology (Southern Crescent Technical College, Griffin).

I have a Personal Business (God’s Grace Auto, LLC) that I have been operating since 2014.  This is a business that deals with International Automotive (used car) shipment.
