Kayla K. Everett
Ms. Everett began her journey as an educator in October of 2018, starting out as a long-term substitute teacher here in Georgia, working in the Social Cirlce school district and the Atlanta Public Schools school district. In 2019, Ms. Everett started working for Stockbridge High School as an Interrelated Special Edcuation Paraprofessional and in 2020, she becae a full-time English/Language Arts teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts (Radio, Television and Film) from the illustrious Clark Atlanta University where she was on the Deans List and graduated Cum Laude. She recently fulfilled the requirements for her Masters degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University in October of 2020, graduating with a 3.95 GPA.
She is a current and active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a current and active member of Delta Phi Delta Dance Fraternity, Inc., and is the Junior Varsity (JV) Head Football/Basketball and Competition Coach at Stockbridge High School. She is also a current and active member of the McDonough Lion's Club and supports the Stockbridge High School Leo Club as an advisor.
Her interests outside of school include, but are not limited to traveling, going to the movies, amusement parks, judging cheerleading competitions, and spending time with her family and friends.
