Hello All!

My name is Jazmin Drayton and I'm expanding my career in the education field towards counseling. This is my 2nd year at Hampton Middle School. It’s an amazing opportunity to be a part of the Hornet family! I serve all grade levels 6th, 7th & 8th alongside Dr. Teemer and Ms. Crawford. I am from Miami, FL and Yes I enjoy beach days! I love all things close to the kitchen, I am truly a foodie. My favorite pastimes are hanging out by the water with family and friends, trying new recipes, yoga and reading. One known fact about me: Ms. Drayton is always researching!

Why Do I Want to Be a School Counselor?

I am interested in School Counseling to be a part of the resolution rather than the problem. As a dedicated partner to our youth, parents and the community, I am anticipating the opportunities that contribute to positive differences. A transformation in the statistics achieving the initial need to guide students to success. We all dream; however, with the proper guidance and counseling our young people of tomorrow will transition those fantasy's into reality.
