Pathways I, II, III
Lights. Camera. Action. Welcome to the world of Audio/Video Technology and Film. In this CTAE Pathway of courses, students learn basic through advanced skills in TV Broadcast and Audio Production but most importantly, learning how to apply those skills in real-world scenarios. Students will be hands-on technical producers of their own unique shows, camera operators, studio assistants, audio engineers, and much more. Dutchtown TV, which will produce a campus news show and cover events in a video journalistic style format, will allow students the opportunity to get to work, experiencing hands-on, industry-related job techniques and workflows during the process. Having the ability to critically think, work as a teammate in a diverse environment, problem solve and show initiative, are some of the traits and skillsets students will attain and show mastery and the end of the pathway.
