It is an honor and a privilege to serve you here at Excel Academy in the Henry County School System.  Please allow me to introduce myself.  I began my teaching career in 2003, and I am certified in middle grades math, language arts, social science, and educational leadership.  My degrees include a BA in Spanish, a MA in Biblical Studies, a MA in Educational Leadership, and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership and Supervision. In my tenure as an educator, I have had the absolute pleasure of teaching math, social studies, and language arts in the 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th grade. I have also served in the capacity of college professor, RTI chairperson, math and social studies department chairperson, grade-level chairperson, leadership team member, data analysis leader, mentor, curriculum writer, and assistant principal. In addition to being an educator and positively impacting and changing lives annually, I also absolutely love missionary work, reading, and traveling with my military husband and children.  In closing, I am looking forward to giving my students and HCS 1000% while having an extraordinary year!
