Hello Parents/Guardians/Students,

I am Mrs. Sims. I am a 6th grade reading teacher at McDonough Middle School. I am excited about the upcoming school year and look forward to working with you to accomplish the academic needs of my students. 

I am a married mother of two. I have a son an a daughter. My husband and my mother are also educators. I am a proud alumni of Alabama State University and Nova Southeastrn University. My career in education began in August 2003. My teaching experience spands several grade levels including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th grades.
