My name is Sheena Martinez and I am so excited to be teaching Spanish at Woodland this year! I am from Guayama, Puerto Rico and have been living in Georgia for 18 years. I graduated from Woodland High School in May of 2015 and have returned to teach alongside my former teachers.  

I attended Georgia State University and graduated with a B.A. in Spanish with a concentration in art, culture, society and language (Magna Cum Laude). I received an MAT with a concentration in Spanish from Georgia College & State University. 

I have studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and Mexico City, Mexico. I also lived in Malaga, Spain for three months and fully immersed myself in the culture which sparked my love for the Spanish language and different cultures that speak it. 

This year will be my first year at Impact and my fourth year teaching in Henry County.
